Hi! I’m Vera, the baker behind Vera Kate’s Bakery. When I’m not whisking up a new recipe, you can probably find me swimming, practicing sign language, or dreaming about my future travels to New York and Paris. Being homeschooled is perfect for me—I can dive into my studies and my baking experiments whenever inspiration strikes, even if that’s late at night (I’m definitely a night owl!). Continuing Grammy’s Legacy of Baking
Some of my earliest and sweetest memories are in Grammy’s kitchen, where I “helped” with more icing than skill and brought a lot of laughter (and a little mess) to her recipes. From cookie decorating marathons to baking up all kinds of treats, Grammy’s kitchen was where I first felt the joy of creating something special. She taught me not just the art of baking but also the love, patience, and care that goes into each recipe. Now, as I find my own style, I carry Grammy’s legacy with me in every treat I make.
